The whistling wind
Even in the early hours of dawn
Hope can’t be found
Who’s to blame for all this misery?
Can you hear that sound?
It’s the wind loudly whistling:
What goes around comes around

Penne with portabello mushrooms in a pesto sauce
I was asked to post the recipe for this yummy and very easy to make pasta dish.
You will need:
250g of Penne Pasta ( half a box)
Pan spray or 25g of unsalted butter

2/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

1 large box KDD thick cream
Italian herb mix
1 jar of sacla classic basil pesto

2 large portabello mushrooms sliced into small pieces
Follow directions on the box for the penne, while you wait for the water to boil get a deep sauce pan and spray the bottom of it or warm the butter in it on medium heat.
Empty the thick cream into the sauce pan along with the Parmesan cheese and stir until it melts.
Next empty the pesto sauce into the sauce pan continue to stir until the sauce is consistent in color and texture.
Sprinkle a pinch of Italian herbs into the sauce and then drop the mushrooms in the saucepan.
Your penne should be almost ready, drain the penne in a colander and then drop the penne into the sauce pan and mix it all up for 2 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and brown.

Into the abyss
And so we sway ..on the edge of the maw
no peace, no safety, no rule of law
our hands reach out but miss
we slip away..into the abyss
with fear and pain, I suffocate
grab me now before it’s too late
I mourn you, my land of two seas
I long for the days of tranquility
Breaking apart
Tearing my heart
Dark clouds above
Not a single dove
Going, going… gone.
I do not sympathize
with the way you terrorize
I do not feel empathy
for your rage & enmity
Your only intent
is to reap dissent
Freedoms were granted
and for death you chanted
Dialogue we all called!
but you just blackballed
Preaching anarchy
in the name of democracy
Do you disrespect
all of our intellect?
Insult me, intimidate me
but don’t you dare blame me
The only agenda was escalation
now you wage war on our nation
Forgive me if I don’t want to talk
now that you have walked this walk
You have gone too far..
they will come for you Dar, Dar
I pray that his majesty,
never grants you amnesty.
The things iWant
The things I want this week can’t be bought, so unfortunately this Friday there won’t be a shopping list.
If you really must buy something you can go buy the iPad2.
UPDATE: You can’t use your bordelinx/DHL address, Aramex seems to work though.
Fractured souls
Words full of venom, hearts full of hate
I weep for my people consumed by the rage!
Breathe in the fear, exhale the pain
we’ve fractured our souls, can our demons be tamed?
We reprise,
with distraught sighs
Is it too late now? does the fire burn strong ?
We reprise,
when you call for our demise
Is it too late now? can we undo the wrongs?
